Brief
"29ers" is a baseball team from Hanoi, Vietnam. After a long period of continuous training as a small team at an university, they have achieved numerous victories in local matches. Finally, they have received invitations to participate in nationwide tournaments. Therefore, 29ers team want to have a new logo that accurately reflects their passionate sporting spirit and relentless efforts to impress the audiences.
Solution
For the visual direction, I chose an old-school baseball aesthetic to reflect the team’s roots as a university-based team and to create a strong sense of tradition, pride, and team spirit. This style gives the brand a classic athletic feel while still making it bold and memorable for tournaments and public events.
Red was selected as the main brand color to represent the team’s passion, enthusiasm, and competitive energy. Combined with strong typography and sporty visual elements, the logo aims to capture 29ers’ relentless effort, unity, and ambition as they move from local matches to nationwide tournaments.
